logic 9 and os x ui latency (?)

I have had some problems with logic 9 on my apple computer. Maybe some of you had similar problems



I have used a macbook pro (into core 2 duo and full memory) and logic 9. Until a coupe of months ago this worked great. I could use lots of plugins, NI-stuff and so on. No software latencys and problems with computer hiccups.



Until I installed os x 10.9 (maverick)



This caused logic 9 to behave less good. With UI-latency (the software takes nearly a minute to select a effect from the channel insert. And during that time I can't even stop logig if it's running. And I don't even have more than 3-4 audio tracks and 2,3 plugins / tracks (such as eq and compressor)



So I bought a new computer: mac mini 2012 with 16 gb ram and ssd. It had yosemitu installed.



I installed logic 9 on this. And thought this would be really good. But now I have the same problem, lots of UI latency on small projects.



Is this a general problem that logic 9 don't work on 10.9 and 10.10 ?

HEDD process switch

I'm having trouble figuring out the process switch on my new Crane Song HEDD. I understand the different bit depths, but beyond that I'm lost. I've studied the diagrams and still don't get it.



What is the difference between the analog and digital options? I assume AD means the input is processed, and DA means the output is processed, but what about ANA and DIG?

Hello!



I just installed cubase 7(64bit) on my pc but it seems not to recognise my waves plugins because they are 32bit.

I tried to use jbridge to convert them to 64bit but i get this: "No 64bit bridging files created (1 sub-directories scanned, looking for 62bit plugins only)".

I am running jBridger as an administrator.

What can I do ?
