Lombard accepts fight against Woodley..waiting for Woodleys response
UFC President Dana White confirmed today, that the UFC is trying to put together a welterweight scrap between Tyron Woodley and Hector Lombard, two ATT stable-mates. The only hangup? Getting Woodley to accept. White breaks it down: (via UFC.com) “What’s weird about that is that Woodley calls out Matt Brown, but he’s ranked higher than Matt Brown,” White said. “But we want to do Tyron Woodley vs. Hector Lombard – that’s the fight we want to do. Hector said yes, we’re just waiting to hear from Woodley. Lombard said he would fight him, no problem.”

Dana White: GQ ‘Biggest Sleazebags in Sports' list was ‘definitely written by someone who is uneducated' in MMA
UFC President Dana White recently had the dubious distinction of landing in the top-10 of GQ Magazine's list, ‘The 25 Biggest Sleazebags in Sports.'
An often controversial public figure, White came in at number eight, just below recently arrested fighter Jon "War Machine" Koppenhaver, with the magazine labeling the UFC boss as a "Greedy sleaze" and stating of White:
White responded in surprisingly measured fashion on Thursday, largely brushing off the article in an interview with UFC.com. However he did take exception to GQ's characterization of the UFC as an organization that underpays its employees.
"It was definitely written by someone who is uneducated about the sport," White said. "I'm sandwiched between War Machine and Lance Armstrong. The thing that's unfortunate is that it's unfair for the UFC as a brand. UFC pays its fighters very well."
"You're never going to be able to stop what people say about you," White added. "And everybody isn't going to love you. But I don't take offense to anything. When you're in a public position like this you're always going to have people say things about you. Believe me, if I worried about everything that was said about me, I would have been a mess a long time ago. That kind of stuff doesn't bother me at all, not even a little bit."
