Crunchy frequencies

Hey everyone,

I was wondering what frequencies you cut or boost to make a sound crunchy. Personally I've had a lot of luck with a cut at 1800 and a pretty narrow boost at 2000. I'm talking about like hard electro crunch, not like electric guitar amp crunch, by the way. Specifically, maybe someone could give some frequency suggestions 5,000 hz and up and about 800 hz down.
