Getting my mic working with Interface+Pro Tools

So I have pro tools 11, a 2i2 focus rite interface, and an sm57.



What exactly do I need to do to get the sm57 sending level to pro tools?



I plugged my 57 into the focus rite and tried switching my input in pro tools to each of the interfaces inputs but that didn't work. It was only my first guess though, figured it would be quicker to ask.
