hardware synths for songwriting/arpeggiating/inspiration

Hey, so first off I'm a guitarist just looking for an awesome synth to add to the mix in songwriting - I want something physical, with knobs/sliders/etc, not a VST or something for the ipad. I have always been obsessed with synths but it is not my first instrument. I am looking for something in the 500-1000USD used price range that has awesome pads, polyphonic, and arpeggiator. It's totally for songwriting, trying out chord progressions I write on other instruments, and syncing to tempo when I record my demos. For reference, my favorite synth is the Access Virus TI2. I can't afford that.



For this purpose, what are your thoughts on these choices:



Used Roland JP-8000

Waldorf Blofeld

Used Nord Lead (1, 2?)

DSI Mopho X4
