Is the Waves TG12345 will function similarily to the CL Curve Bender TG12345?

i need you guys to help me understand the diffrence (if there is any) between the TG12345 Channel Strip to the Chandler Limited Curve Bender TG12345.



OF COURSE THAT ONE IF SOFTWARE AND ONE IS HARDWARE, but my question is will they try to do the same thing? except the waves has the dynamics built into it, the EQ will be similar?



in addition, if not the waves TG12345, which Software-EQ is sounding most similar to the Curve Bender?
