Does anyone have experience using the Korg Microsampler as a midi slave? Was trying out hooking my EMX2 as master and MS as slave so i could play each of the samples on a key on one midi channel. Tried with exact same setup on my older Korg ES-1 and it worked as expected, , I could sound each sample on the current bank. Also tried controlling a synth from EMX2 and it works as expected. The MS however just does not seem to be receiving external midi data at all. Beginning to suspect a hardware issue.
Pretty sure I have it all set up right, correct midi channels etc, am I maybe missing something? Any MS users got any idea? Might have to pop it open and see if the midi connector has any issues.
