Mixing Vocals.

Hey guys! Simple question~



I use Adobe Audition for recording and mixing vocals.

I know that recording vocals in Mono is a must.

So what about mixing vocals?



Do I create a new project in Audition as Stereo and import my Mono tracks?

Then from there I can pan, eq, compress, etc. and do the resting of the mixing?



Or does all that have to be done in the same mono project in which it was recorded?

My guess it wouldn't because you cant really pan easily in mono.
