Hey all,
The title basically explains it all. I want to know what books are considered 'gold standard' on anything in the industry.
This is how far I've come in the meantime:
Acoustics: Mastering Handbook of Acoustics by F. Alton Everest
Counterpoint: The Study of Counterpoint by Johann Joseph Fux
Harmony: Tonal Harmony by Stefan Kostka
Mastering: Mastering Audio by Bob Katz
Mixing: ? (lot of good ones, but no real standard I've come across)
Music Production: Behind The Glass Vol 1 & 2 by Howard Massey? (same here, this appears to be the closest as of yet)
Give me some suggestions, I'll update this post to update it with what you give me.
Have a good one!
