old 2500 same as new?

Are there differences between old api 2500 and the ones made up now? Talking about API i know there are like five revisions of their 2520 opamp so, if there are differences in sound/feel i would like to know.





I am also interested in the 200 thing, and if any one has compared the 225L to the 2500 or other comps for that matter, i think i would load the lunch box with 4 gates, 4 filters and 4 comps, or maybe 2 comps and 2 line ins (i have a lot of other comps)
