Hello there,
I have noticed that when I use my Presonus Monitor Station with my monitors it inverts or flip the phase on one speaker (I don't know if Left or Right).
The stereo image and vocal placement is all messed up when listening on the monitors and when I press the "Mono" button the voice disappears completely from the mix.
When I use it, I have to flip the phase to one channel (Left or Right) with a plugin like "Panipulator" to get back to a normal.
I've took off the monitor station and everything is fine without it so I thought the device is messing with the phase.
The fact is that I use unbalanced cables with it. I tried to use a mix of balanced and unbalanced and it was also the same problem.
I read the user manual and they wrote that all connectors are balanced except the phono / RCA ones.
I have little knowledge about cables and phase but I suspect it might be possible that I just didn't plug the Monitor Station as it should. Otherwise it's just that the unit is faulty...
Is there any way to fix the problem with balanced cables only? Or maybe I could flip the phase by soldering differently one balanced cable ?
Thanks you guys in advance to help me! :)
