If I'm running a mono set guitar or bass track out from one of the 1/4" outputs of my interface into a color preamp... Say a GAP or the UA.... What's the "best" way?
1/4" line out if the interface into the line in of the pre... Or from the box into a reamp box or reversed DI box into the preamp's DI input?
I get that if it sounds good it's good... But, what is the best way to capitalize on the preamp's tonal quality?
