Hey Folks,
So, this is driving me mental..
On Protools...
I'll balance my tracks, mix everything, I'm listening through my DT 770s through my Fireface 800.
The left and right sounds and feels balanced exactly how I want it, I can see on the master fader as well, then I bounce it out, open the .Wav on my computer and listen through the same headphones or computer speakers and most of the energy is on the left.
I even wondered, maybe I'm going deaf in one ear or something, but it's the same when I switch them over.
I'll end up sitting there for ages bouncing and bouncing, I end up turning up the right side and pushing everything towards the right more and more until it's closer to how it should be - using the Waves stereo imager.
WTF?
Someone tell me there's something I should be doing that I'm not, or that it's some kind of glitch.
TBH, one thing I did notice is that since I got the Waves EMI TG12345 plugin it seems to be happening.. I'll put it on the master... I like the sound of it though, so hence why I use it. I'm not sure if that's when it started or if I just noticed it after that.
I feel completely blind and it's making me spend all my time guessing how much I should push everything towards the right after I'm already happy with my mix.
Thanks!
Cameron
