Ensoniq SQ-80 vs. Roland JX3P for "organic" sounds

First, I'm sorry for yet another thread, but you can only go so far with YouTube videos and VintageSynth reviews...



I'm after an organic sound, in a way similar to what the Mr. Ray 22 offers in a (kind of buggy, abandoned VST) Rhodes on steroids kind of way:





Can I get there with a JX3P and it's analog goodies? or the Ensoniq with it's cross waveform synthesis?



I lust for that crunchy wah-wah muted nicotine-crusted psychadelic funk sound!
