which is more stable pro tools 8hd or pro tools 10 hd?

Hi guys and gals,



I have a pro tools tdm system running protools 9hd and have not been very happy with it...kinda buggy. So I am considering up grading or down grading. what i want most is stability. current os is 10.6.8. I can either stay there or go to 10.8.5.



so what is the verdict?



pro tools 8hd vs pro tools 10 hd



os 10.6.8 vs 0s 10.8.5 running protools
