5" speakers or 8" speakers in a small room?

I'm currently debating whether I should get the JBL LSR305's or LSR308's. It will be used in a small home room and assuming I have the proper acoustic treatment, will the extra few inches be worth it? Will I have bass issues with the 8" speakers compared to the 5" speakers?
