I'm mixing (in the box, PT11) on a deadline and I have to redo drums. Mixes overall have gotten too hot and Master Fader keeps creeping down, and now I also don't have enough head room to bring in new audio routed out through my DBX.
Question:
What's a good way to bring down my mix, give me more wiggle room on the track/aux faders, bring the Master back up to zero, but preserve my mix, automation, sends to FX busses, and not change how hard I'm hitting plugin EQ/comp/limit etc?
Trim plugin on every track?
Group busses with additional master faders?
Thanks.
