Syncing an iMac (PT 9) for video playback to a Mac Pro (PT 10 HDN)?

Would there be a way to do this for relatively cheap (or free) via ethernet? The goal is to offload the video playback on the iMac, leaving the Mac Pro's resources dedicated to audio processing during scoring sessions. The iMac is running Pro Tools 9, and the Mac Pro is running Pro Tools 10 HD Native.
