Ive recently got an opportunity to mix a metal band, well u know the new metal sound, hardcore, etc. listening to albums from Memphis May Fire, mice and men, woe is me, etc I'm trying to tighten up guitars like on those records. What's your process for doing this? Is there a way for doing this fairly quickly, or am I going to have to literally slice and nudge every hit? Thanks!
