Im curious, whats an average of the level of noise floor on DIs? I have a Daking micpre500 which has a DI and at about -45db on the venue peak meter is where I start to hit noise. Its one of my noisier units. I dont have any other pres or DIs but my compressor, and eq, and other outboard are really quiet. Is something wrong with my unit?
