Howdy all
I've been playing around with one of these shure m67 mic preamp mixers. The ones rod C posted direct out mods for.
I am wondering if anyone can predict the results for upping the audio signal capacitor values. Stock it has:
Input transformer
0.1 uf film cap
Darlington pair of transistors
0.47 uf film cap
Direct unbalanced out
I would like to increase the 0.1 uf cap to a 1 uf film cap and the 0.47 cap to a 1.5 uf film cap (I've found these huge aerovox film caps locally as surplus for pretty cheap).
What might this do to the signal? Positive or negative.
