PreenFM2 for more traditional FM sounds?

Has anyone tried to make more traditional FM sounds (DX-like basses and maybe some strings) with one of these little units? I've listened to all the demos I could find and they were all just showcasing the more experimental side of the unit.



I know it can load DX7 patches, but I haven't found a demo of those.



Anyone even own one of these? It's hardly ever talked about anywhere.
