Beats that are too repetitive?

I was told today that my beats sound too "amateurish" by being to repetitive. but i don't get it i understand that you gotta change it up to make it interesting duh. but hiphop beats are pretty straight forward. you got a dope beat but you wanna leave enough room for the rapper. but at the same time you don't want to have the same loop going for ever

this is the beat that was criticized. now for the most part it stays the same but i have subtle changes.
