Hi folks!
I'm planning switching my Lynx Aurora ADDA to BURL Mothership. I currently have 2 AES32 cards in my PC, the other for Lynx, the other for some FX and Cranesong HEDD. Since there still aint no AES option for the BURL, I would need to change to a MADI interface. I'm currently thinking of replacing one AES card with the MADI card, and keeping the other card for the AES/EBU FX and such (like it is now). Anyone doing like this? does it work? In theory it should but the investment is so huge that I really would need to know before pulling the trigger.
I've also contacted RME support but I'd like to have some real user experiences as well.
Specs:
Intel Quadcore PC
Win7 64bit
Cubase 6
The AES card that would stay is a PCI (not PCIe) card. My PCI and PCIe AES cards work together just fine so there should be no problems there.
Thanks a lot.
