Hi there folks!
I'm using right now a Roland MC909 for my rap beats, I usually sample from vinyl or tape and I get sometimes the typical vinyl crunchy sound a little bit loud.
The problem is that Roland MC909 doesn't have a really good EQ on it, and I'm restricted to high pass, low pass and few options more...
So now a days I'm looking for a good Graphic or parametric EQ to put between Roland MC909 and my sound source. I found Behringer DEQ2496 Ultra-Curve Pro and it looks quite nice, what you think about it? It's cheap and has a lot of functions for mastering.
As I can see, mostly reviews use it as a PA/ROOM EQ and I'm not sure if it may work for what i'm looking for. Can you help me?
