SP-12 Question

Hey probably a noob question but; I've been researching some information about the SP-12 as I'm looking to get my hands on one and want to know how to test one before I buy one.

After reading, it's my understanding that the SP-12 saves data by either keeping it in its built in memory or saving externally to drives or recording devices.

I read that the SP-12 can save data to pretty much any device that can record. I know that the SP-12 can save data to commodore drives on disks. However is it possible to save all of the data (songs, sequences, tracks, samples etc.) to for example a standard audio cassette tape into a cassette deck?

I wasn't sure from the text I read that if, a cassette tape (for example) could either only just save sound (standard recording) or actual SP-12 data (like sequences that could be reloaded into the SP-12 from the cassette tape).

So could I save SP-12 song data (like a sequence with its tracks, samples) on to an audio cassette tape in a cassette deck (not a cassette disk in a drive) then load that data back into the SP-12 and have the same samples sequences and songs loaded and be able to play it, edit it, as it was before it was saved out?

Thanks for any help.
