Subs Damaged?

We had our sound system stored in the trailer for several months this winter. Turned out some precipitation got in, so there was definite moisture locked in the trailer for a while.

We pulled everything out and let it all air out for a few days in a climate controlled environment.

Finally, we went through a test run last night. The tops still sound great (Active speakers), board working well, everything seemed fine except the subs. The subs now produce a constant "thunder storm" type of sound. It would get louder the more we turned the gain on them. They're effectively unusable at this time. This is with them not having a signal run to them. Simply plugged in the wall and turned on. I also tried them through our power conditioner (to see if the outlets were causing noise), no change. Same rumble.

I'm sure we're f'd, but thought I'd post here to see if anyone had experience with this as a last hope. One suggestion was to turn them on and let them heat up hopefully "burning off" any moisture. We have not done that at this time.

Thank you for your feedback.
