The UFC has been hyping the WW division since GSP left. Using every positive adjective in the dictionary to make the division look like the best they have.
But don't kid yourself.
Let's take a look at the first two that fought for a title shot and then go from there.
#1 WW
1. Lawler got cut from the UFC while competing at WW.
2. Lawler has a losing record in Strikeforce.
3. Lawler can't check leg kicks from elite kickboxers fighting in MMA.
4. Lawler has more loses than all current UFC champions combine.
#5 WW
1. Brown lost in the TUF house. Not in the finale but in the TUF house.
2. Brown has more loses than allcurrent UFC champions combine.
3. Brown was on the verge of getting cut from the UFC once upon a time.
#3 WW
1. Condit has a takedown defense % of 39. If some one wants to check if thats the worst in all current UFC.
2. Condit is unable to fight when he's moving back.
#4 WW
1. Woodley, one dimensional for most his career.
2. Woodley is less polished techincally than Artie Langes manners.
#6 WW
Lombard coming down in weight because he couldn't hack it.
2. Lombard, the father of the division.
3. Lombard, the one with worse footwork than a Diaz

1. Rory is where he is today in the UFC because he trained with GSP.
2. Rory is very technical, too technical at times and he doesn't know what to do with it.
#10 WW
1. Kim spent most his career one dimsenal.
2. Kim is now so afriad of getting cut because of his stlye that he resorts to a zombie brawler that's sloppy as hell.
Let's see if sloppy contines to win fights.

1. Maia is one dimensional.
2.Maia has bad cardio.
3. He's the step father of the division

1. He still wets the bed.

1. Hendricks lost to Rick Story, won two SD, knocked-out some folks and wrestled a guy to get a title shot.
2.Hendricks is a blue belt in BJJ.
3. Hendricks doesn't do MMA. He is one thing for one fight, never mixes.
4. Hendricks won't last long because of his time away from fighting. Hendricks blows up when he's not fighting and it's the worst case.
In comparison heres Hendricks and Bellator WW champion Lima:
People can run their mouth about the lower weight divisions all they want but fact is that the WW division is the weakest right now outside of the women.
