Joe Diesel Riggs like a total idiot cleans loaded gun and ends up shooting himself in the hand and leg 
Joe ‘Diesel’ Riggs was set to make his return to the UFC at UFC Fight Night 51 against Paulo Thiago. However in an unfortunate turn of events Riggs was accidentally shot while cleaning a pistol in his home in Arizona and rushed to a nearby hospital.
The UFC released a statement about the incident:
“Riggs was transported to a nearby hospital in Arizona where he is being treated by physicians,” a UFC statement read. “We wish Joe a speedy recovery.”
When the weapon discharged it injured Riggs hand and leg.
We would like to send our best wishes to Joe Riggs as well as his family and would like to wish him a speedy recovery.
