I'm planning on getting a new audio interface in the next half a year or so. I was and have been looking at the RME UFX, but realize it's getting a bit long in the tooth as far as a product goes. I was slightly saddened to see that there was no news from RME at NAMM 2015, and so checked Musikmesse 2015's website. There's no mention of them on the exhibitor's list either. While I'm sure that the UFX is still a great interface, I've been considering going for the new Apogee Ensemble, since it's a much newer system and natively uses Thunderbolt. I realize that the two interfaces are different in many ways.
So basically, in the end, my question is this: should I expect RME to come up with an updated audio interface? I figure someone around here might have their ear to the ground in this regard.
