Chandler TG2 500 vs. AMS Neve 1073lb

Hi,

I have to make decision soon about buying a 500 series mic pre. I have narrowed down to Chandler TG2 500 and AMS Neve 1073lb. Please note I already have a BAE 1073 MPF.. I've just heard that the Neve lb is more open in the top end. the Chandler 500.. well.. I'm an Abbey road/Dark side of the moon fan.. is this mic pre really Abbey road/Floyd sounding??

I want a mic pre for all round purposes, vocals, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, drums an other instruments.

I'd be interested to hear any opinions. I notice that the TG 2 500 has not had much online conversation about it. Any opinions on the Chandler 500 and its uses?

What about the Neve 1073lb (obviously far more discussed in this forum) but.. is it worth the money??

P.s I'm also about to buy a Classic API VP26 and assemble myself. So looking for something perhaps that offers a different flavor to API.

Thankyou.
