hi,
i have recently setup my studio in my room and have done it on a very limited budget. i have picked up krk monitors along with behringer UCA 202 audio interface to begin with. i have connect them both via rca cables as it allow me only to connect via that. after completing the connections i tried playing couple of tracks and i can hear clicks and pops and at times continuous white noise with or without anything playing on my computer:facepalm:. i have done some research and mostly ppl recommend to use balanced cables but at the same time they ask to do so only if you are using cables longer than 10 metres which i m not.
kindly suggest if i really need to convert the signal from the AI to balanced and then feed to the monitors to solve this or do i have to simply keep the audio cables far away from the power source or any other solution possibly. also if i have to keep the audio cables far away from the power source then the recommended distance as well. please advicewworried??
thank you.
