I'm working on an older system - i5 750. For the most part, it handles my needs fine. I do mostly acoustic stuff, never more than 25-30 tracks. Couple of VSTis here and there.
I would like to optimize the system as much as I can to put off the inevitable upgrade a little longer though.
I have DPC Checker and Latency mon but the latter may as well be Chinese. I know that the usual advice is to disable what you don't use but I'm not exactly sure what is essential or not.
I'm not connected to internet and have disabled wifi. Also, wondering what is an optimal range for DPC latency.

DPC latency of 170-350. Any suggetsions?
