Apologize in advance for the absolute rookie question
I recorded 2 separate audio tracks one with keys the second with bass.
I have a few reverb plugins and delays on the channels. Everything is working as it should.
Now I am adding a 3rd audio track for guitar. I am inputing my guitar on the track and running it through an amp sim plugin.
I have software monitoring checked in the preferences.
So when I hit the play button to practice the guitar part I can not hear the guitar through the plugin ? When I hit the stop button the guitar can be heard again through the plugin. When I hit record I can hear the guitar through the plugin. I want to be able to hear the guitar when I just push play as I want to play along with the previous recorded tracks to practice without making a recording. Why is the plugin shutoff when I push play?
