Waves GTR, Guitar RIG, noisy amps!!!

Hi there,

I am wandering if there is a way to make the noise make by those amp simulator plugins go away, specially when you use more gain or any other type of distortion.

The direct signal from my guitar goes into my Focusrite scarlette 214 and it is all clean. Then I add some eq before any compression to eliminate the frequencies that may push it further. Then, when the signal goes into either a GTR amp or any other from Guitar Rig the audio signal comes out yelling at me like a damn bitch!!! My recordings become a complete digital mess specially when mixing all instruments together.

I have tried aggressive use of EQ, noise reduction plugin, Gates (which makes nothing 'cause as I said my direct signal is clean) but nothing seems to reduce that nose made by this amp simulation.

I used to record with an axe fx and things were not that messy even when I barely tweaked the factory presets. Unfortunately I sold it. What a big mistake I started to think of now.

What to you do to tame that damn noise?
