Workflow for Electro music

Hey guys. New to the forums, but I've been reading for a long time. I've been an ambient and downtempo producer for a while and I've recently started some deep house and very big sounding tracks much like Porter Robinson's newest album "Worlds."

One thing I loved about his album is that he still throws in a lot of his old production techniques with his glitchyness and electro style on some tracks.

I was just wondering what a good workflow is for makes good feedback sounds and glitches? I know that's a very broad question, but I've used effectrix and I'm an avid user of the new Serum VST so I play with the sync a lot to make some good feedback noises, but I've never known a proper way to make glitchy sounds and how to make them flow so well.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I've been producing for a while, but I just like to understand how to produce bits of all genres to throw them all together. One of my favorites is the xfer LFO tool and I use that for gated sounds a lot, but that doesn't help too much with the glitch sound I'm looking for.

Thanks guys!
