Apogee Symphony I/O 8x8 fails to start.

I work as an engineer in a small studio and we have an Apogee Symphony 8x8 I/O connected to a 2009 or 2010 Mac Pro. The connection is PCIe.



When trying to turn on the interface it will start to turn on then quit, much like a car without gas. It takes approximately 30 attempts to turn on the interface. Fortunately once it is one there are almost no issues.



Does anyone have any experience with this problem?
