Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 power loss?

Greetings,



My PC and all my peripherals are connected to an APC 1000VA ups.

I don't know why, but whenever I press my electric roller my sound card goes offline. It has 3 leds,PWR - FW - LKD and only Power stays on.

My motherboard, Gigabyte Z68X-UD4-B3, has firewire VIA VT6308 chip that is compatible according to Focuswrite manual. And as the company says I have the card only with the firewire cable. Not the extra power supply that is needed with 4pin firewire connections.



Any ideas?
