I'm an engineer working in Atlanta but have always wanted to get into the production side. Especially Pop and hip hop.
I've made countless tracks but the problem I always come to is searching though endless banks of presets trying to find a pad with "that sound".
Other than all the logic and protools instruments I have the komplete 9 bundle. Don't get me wrong, these are great instruments. I just want to know (and invest in) the stuff that the top guys are using. What are the industry standard Pads, synths, drums or samples. Because I want it all!
Ps. I'm definitely going to be buying trillian, omnisphere and atmosphere. Any thoughts on that? Any one to get first?
