Hi,
I bought a new MacBook Pro retina a week ago and installed the latest version of Logic Pro X. I’ve had an immediate issue with input monitoring. When I click rec/enable and the input monitoring button on the track I want to hear, Logic doesn’t register any sound. I can see in my TotalMix program that my RME Fireface 800 sound card is receiving sound on those channels.
If I then click record or play in Logic, I can ”trick” Logic into recognizing the input signal. This works for a while, but it shuts itself off after a few minutes. I have to click record or play again to start it up again.
Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance for any tips!
