A flyweight matchup between onetime title contender John Moraga (14-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and prospect Justin Scoggins (9-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) is the latest addition to UFC Fight Night 50.
UFC officials recently announced the new pairing. Moraga currently sits at No. 9 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA flyweight rankings, while Scoggins is an honorable mention.
Featuring a middleweight matchup between Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Gegard Mousasi, UFC Fight Night 50 takes place Sept. 5 at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, Conn. The night’s main card airs on FOX Sports 1 while prelims stream on UFC Fight Pass.
