Questioning Fedor Emelianenko's legacy

I know a lot of people love them some Fedor, so please don't think I am trolling you Fedor fanatics. I was just wondering how good he really was. I am not an expert, and don't claim to be. I just think MMA Share hasn't had a serious discussion about how good he really was.

One, PRIDE was a great organization, and had some of the best fights I have seen. Having said that, there was fight fixing and freak show match ups. Did Fedor benefit from this? Was Choi Hong-man is an example of a freak show win? Was there ever any rumors of people taking (questionable) losses to Fedor? Keep in mind his winning percentage in PRIDE was much higher than outside of PRIDE. Was him "getting old" a coincidence with being in Strikeforce?

Two, how many cans did Fedor crush? Looking at the list of his victories there are a lot of lesser known or respected fighters. Once it is decided how many cans he crushed, and subtract them from his record, how impressive will that record be?

Lastly, he never fought in the UFC. Does this factor at all? Other PRIDE transplants have had mixed to poor success. Is this indicative of a gap in talent between the UFC and PRIDE, or is it another coincidence that Henderson, Gomi, Shogun, Rampage, Barnett, both Nogueria brothers, Cro Cop, and Wanderlei all have had mixed results in the UFC?

I am not hating on Fedor. I am a fan. It's just that there are a lot of people that have placed him SO high on the GOAT list and I think Anderson Silva, GSP (as much as I dislike him), and Jones (as much as I dislike him) are CLEARLY better. I would also place Cruz, Aldo, and Barão ahead of Fedor.
