Jose Aldo thinks he should top the P4P ranking list: 'I feel that I'm the best in the world'
The UFC 145-pound title holder doesn't think that he should be behind Jon Jones or any other fighter in the pound for pound ranking.
Jose Aldo, the No. 2 fighter in the pound for pound rankings, feels like he should be in the top of this list, according with his interview to Ag. Fight.
The UFC Featherweight champion is only behind Jon Jones in the list, and is positioned ahead of other dominant champions like Cain Velasquez, Chris Weidman, Demetrious Johnson and Ronda Rousey.
"If you talk about skills, I feel that I'm the best in the world. but it doesn't mean that I think that I'm invincible and I'm still working to keep being a champion."
Although this is his opinion, Aldo isn't bothered by his position in the second spot.
"If I'm the number one or I'm not, this is up to the fans and the media, though I have my opinion. The important thing is that I'm still evolving as a fighter and I have a lot to improve."
Preparing himself to defend his title for the seventh time, Aldo is scheduled to face Chad Mendes in a rematch at UFC 179 on October 25.
