How many people suspected even slightly that gsp was on ped's? I know I definitely suspected it, even though it was slight. Now I know the first thing that is going to come to people's minds is that I'm buthurt or a hater, I'm really really not, I'm just looking at his situation, history (including accusations of greasing and steroids from other fighters) and his impressive reign as a champion, not with glamour and glitz but with strength and endurance (with alot of mental aswell)
Now there was a lot of discussion and confusion about the Wada and vada testing, there was a lot of fights happening in Canada where he dominated and then all of a sudden moved to America where he just didn't seem himself.
Gsp is a smart guy, after his lay off he mentioned how difficult it was to remove the ring rust and he couldn't believe how much it effected him, so he chose to fight Nick Diaz after his year or so off when that fight didn't make 100% sense
We all watched overeem crumble after he got busted, like he went from this mammoth beast to a worthless piece of shit unless he is fighting Frank mir ofcourse
I think gsp looked at that situation, now he understood the significance of ring rust, IF the guy was using steroids do you think he could hav perhaps seen the same thing happening to him, I think so, an entirre legacy and the ufc's poster boy either busted or just pummeled like overeem or both.
The ufc is a business, a business needs credibility, and the ufc needs sheer dominance in the market especially with bellator doing there best to compete. Now if one of the most dominant champions in ufc history was to hav been busted by a random test, goodbye credibility and I think that the ufc and gsp knew that. So we start hearing gsp change a little, he got punched by Matt serra, kicked by Condit and roughed up by Hendricks a fair bit, mainly out wrestled, and all of a sudden he is suffering from black outs? Now I know us humans are all unique and all react to fuckin everything in different ways but there are other fighters who have taken worse beatings, more consistently and much more brutal, do they suffer from these black outs? To me I never properly understood or 100% belived his reasons for taking a hiatus, the whole thing was all over the place, first there were gay rumors, then his sick father, then ocd, then finally his refusal to compete unless there was across the board testing for everyone (after he had semi retired)
I watched his interviews closely, and il b honest, I did feel for the guy, he did look lost so I'd be an idiot to not include that into my thinking, but the way everything happened afterwards with stricter tests where well known fighters hav been busted for hgh, excessive trt, epo and all of these magnificent things that nobody knew about like chael and bonnar just to name two, it just all seemed like perfect timing and in today's world you just can't trust anything
If 65,000 Iraqi civilians can be killed over a lie since 2003 and over 500,000 children under the age of 5 have died because of the US sanctions after the gulf war (look that up btw) and Palestinians can be oppressed and slaughtered for 60 years illegally, there is a chance that a multi million dollar business protected themselves and there star asset, there is
I think they knew this was coming or at least had suspicions and together they made there move, let gsp have his time off to cycle off the steroids as healthily as possible, re evaluate his situation, perhaps change weight classes, and not crumble like overeem and soon to b vitor and keep his legacy alive whilst maintaining the ufc's credibility
Now maybe I'm wrong, maybe everything that happened was the truth, I hope it is, but imo my theory is not that crazy at all, it has many different variables but it does make a certain amount of sense
And I hope you guys can at least see that
