Lynx Two alternative

Upgrading to x99 platform, so the Lynx two goes to Ebay. I will miss it.



I'd like to replace it with a 4x4 (headphones don't count as an output) interface that's on par with the Lynx. It can be USB. In fact I prefer USB b/c this way I don't have hassle with a monitor control.



I bought the Steinberg UR44 but it's not doing it for me. Too many problems.

I have outboard pres so I really only care about conversion, driver stability and Ease of use.



I see Lynx is coming out with the their new 4x4. I was hoping to get something in the $500-$700 range but will swallow the Lynx bullet if I have to.



I haven't done this interface shopping thing in many years. Totally forgot how much I hate it.



Any ideas?
