Im experimenting with an E-drum build. In a nut shell,im going to glue Piezo's on the underside of a drum head with a thin foam layer between. One in the middle and three around the edges. The three will be wired together to one zone. The piezo's are going to be to hot so I want to control them with resistors and a potentiometer for each zone before they go to the drum module.
My question:
Would a 1 ohm resistor be strong enough to start and then reduced accordingly or should I start bigger?
Would I use a 1K ohm potentiometer or bigger?
Also,am I correct in assuming that you can wire 3 piezos together..any issues there?
This is the stuff im not familiar with at all.
Thanks for any replies.
