Hey all,
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this question but...
I've got a Realistic TR-3000 that was given to me about a year ago. I never touched it as the playback never worked, but yesterday, I decided to take the thing apart and I found that the Capstan belt had turned into black goop. I replaced the belt and play now works fine.
BUT, I get no playback (signal). I recorded some random guitar bits throughout the tape and I can hear them when I'm fast forwarding or rewinding but if I play that specific part I don't hear anything.
Any ideas? Thanks a lot. peachh
