So, I got a private message from hell..

..regarding my 1st track.

There is local group in my area here in Finland where I live. I posted my first track and then things got really bad.

There is a DJ/producer, who is well known in my area. He's been doing this over a decade and I like many of he's tracks. Those tracks get about 3000-5000 listeners and they are in my opinion very good in old school way.

There's some bit's of he's 2 page "information" about my track Club Is Less.

"..this is what is wrong in todays house. It's all there in your 9 minute puppy poop.

I wouldn't call it a house, not sure it's music either.."

"You wouldn't know what Mackie mixer is even I would hit you with one.."

(I do know what it is and the importance to early sound. My uncle has couple of those..). He also mentioned that something is wrong with my fills during the track and in a educational sense he should hit me with that Mackie in the nice groove so there would be a change that I might learn something.."

"..regarding your main part, it's my honour to tell you that the imitation of funky feeling is sad. Plain and simple."

"Club ain't less kid, in your case it's nothing.."

I'm so hurt. I could't move in a hour or so. It felt like somebody hit me to the chest.

Somebody gave me advice here earlier to join band. I did that and it was good advice. Somebody said that make a track to a specific genre. So I listened lots of good vibey house. I break some of those in my daw. I wanted to make a track that I would like to dance myself. It's pretty long, almost 9 minutes, but thats how I felt it as I was arranging it.

There(GS)is also lot's of discussion about the saturation of electronic music. I'm humble about my music. I want to have fun and learn. I don't need to be next whatever or anything like that.

My track is what it is, but I felt so much good things just making it. Now it's all gone.

So, I got a private message from hell..
