First post, but I searched all over the internet and couldn't find an answer to this particular question, so your help would be greatly appreciated.
I just purchased a set of Samson Auro X12D 12" PA speakers, and they seem to have almost no low-end whatsoever. I tried setting them up in a big room and cranking them up; I tried setting the EQ to "deep" (which only made them sound muffled and terrible); I played with all the settings on the backs of the speakers, but they just sound flat as anything.
I have used Alto TS112as before, and they provided a much more balanced sound with nice, thumping low-end, so I figured that most other speakers in that category would do the same. Hell, even my computer speakers with a tiny plastic subwoofer produce more bass than these.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! I wanted a light, powerful PA speaker, and I thought these would be the perfect solution, especially considering how nice their bookshelf speakers sound. What's going on????
