Reports are indicating that Daniel Cormier's second light heavyweight bout will take place against Rafael Cavalvante in July.
It appears that Daniel Cormier's next opponent will be someone that few people expected. The former Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix champion will reportedly face off with Rafael Cavalcante at UFC 175 in his second UFC bout at 205. Bleacher Report's Jeremy Botter tweeted about it:
Since it's getting out there: Cormier vs. Feijao is targeted for UFC 175. That's the fight I've been hinting at.

Cavalcante (12-4, 1 NC), a former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, is 1-1 in two UFC fights thus far. He was knocked out by Thiago Silva in his debut, but rebounded with a win over Igor Pokrajac at UFC Fight Night 32 in November.
Cormier (14-0) made his debut at 205 pounds against late replacement Pat Cummins UFC 170 last month, picking up a first-round TKO victory. He's 2-0 in the UFC overall. It was thought that he might be close to a title shot, but Alexander Gustafsson appears to be in front of him so Cormier stated that he wanted to stay busy. He is indeed doing that, but it seems like odd matchmaking to a degree.
The bout hasn't been confirmed by UFC officials as of yet. UFC 175 takes place on July 6th in Las Vegas, with a middleweight title fight between Chris Weidman and Lyoto Machida serving as the headliner.
